Standard penalties for any limb loss, naturally, through combat, or through magic is a -2 penalty to strength and dexterity. (Thats any limb, any time, ALWAYS.)
Arm: Amputee can not use Bows, but may still use crossbows and fire arms at standard one handed penalty (If any). They receive a -8 penalty when using two handed weapons, and are considered non-proficient with these weapons (Even if normally they would be considered proficient. Amputation penalty and Non-proficiency penalties stack.). The amputee takes a -2 penalty to all Climb, Swim, Craft, Escape Artist, Heal, Open Lock, Preform, slight of hand checks, and automatically fails all checks that require two hands such as use rope.

Favored fighting style: In order to perform his spells, Lief needs to use transmutation circles and runes. He often carves/draws them himself, whether it is on his equipment, paper, stone, or even his own skin.
Background: When Lief was and infant, he was left in an Isolian quarry wrapped in a blanket, with no note or indication of who cast him away. He was born without his right arm (completely, from the shoulder), which he has always suspected was part of why he was abandoned. A band of traveling craftsmen of many different races and kinds of Isolian citizens picked him up and raised him as one of their own. Lief trained in runesmithing, metalworking, alchemy, and black powder craft, and discovered that he had an innate talent for creating objects and art despite the obstacles his missing arm presented. Now 19 years old, he has left on his pilgrimage to learn more about different techniques that he can bring home to his community, in addition to any interesting magical devices that they can research. Odessa is his next destination for its medical advancements, something that his adopted community is lacking.
